Area Sales Manager Apparels

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional B2B sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the kids and newborn apparel category.
• Build and manage strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, multi-brand outlets, and large format retailers.
• Identify and onboard new B2B customers across modern trade, e-commerce, and institutional sales channels.
• Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, competitor activity, and evolving trends in kids and baby fashion.
• Provide product feedback to design and production teams to ensure alignment with market preferences.
• Ensure proper merchandising and stock availability at B2B customer points.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance and report on regional metrics such as sales growth, collections, and coverage.
• Organize and lead regional promotional activities, trade shows, and customer engagement programs.
• Train and support local sales executives or channel partners in product knowledge and selling techniques.

Key Requirements

• Experience: 4–8 years in B2B apparel sales; at least 2 years focused on kids or newborn wear preferred.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
• Industry Exposure: Apparel / Fashion / Textiles with direct B2B customer handling.
• Skills:
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• In-depth knowledge of regional apparel retail and distribution networks
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region
• Data-driven and target-oriented approach
