Job Description

You will play a key role in contributing to the long-term growth of Abbott Nutrition products in your assigned territory/area. This will involve servicing a defined customer base through a reliable distributor network. As part of your responsibilities, you will manage and develop a team of sales representatives to generate new business and enhance existing business within the area. Furthermore, you will be tasked with developing a reliable distributor network that ensures optimal availability of product SKUs across the territory. Your core job responsibilities will include driving results to increase market share within the area by executing sales and distribution plans and ensuring the successful implementation of set initiatives. You will leverage real-time omnichannel business intelligence to identify market and category opportunities at the customer/account level, thereby contributing to market share growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for holding distributors accountable to the terms of the contract, providing support to team members in negotiating with distributors, and collaborating with distributors as business partners. Your role will also involve working closely with the Talent Acquisition & Business HR team to recruit suitable talent for vacant positions, as well as providing coaching and feedback to the sales team on various aspects of the customer lifecycle. You will be expected to accelerate the development of digital knowledge and application among the sales team, maintain individual and team development plans, and optimize team performance through regular reviews and feedback mechanisms. Furthermore, you will support trade sales representatives in the field by offering problem-solving assistance, education, coaching, and feedback. Moreover, you will act as a business advisor to distributors, assisting them in maximizing ROI while aligning with Abbott's priorities and strategy. By setting targets that align with territory objectives, you will hold sales representatives accountable for the success of the territory and enable effective account planning to achieve sales objectives. To enhance customer relationships, you will integrate digital tools with traditional touchpoints and collaborate with Ethical counterparts to ensure business deliverables. Monitoring competition activities in the market and sharing feedback with management will also be part of your responsibilities, all while ensuring alignment with compliance and regulatory expectations.,
