Job Description

You will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing a team of frontline sales professionals in the agency sales model within the designated region. Your key focus will be on recruiting and nurturing financial advisors/agents to boost insurance product sales. Ensuring the complete life cycle of agents including onboarding, training, performance tracking, and retention will be a critical aspect of your role. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions on digital tools/apps to facilitate efficient customer service by agents. Meeting monthly and quarterly revenue targets aligned with business objectives will be essential. Assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and devising strategies for employee development and team advancement will be part of your responsibilities. Motivating and assisting field teams to enhance productivity and engagement will also be crucial. You will be required to ensure strict adherence to regulatory norms and internal processes while maintaining high standards of customer service across sales channels and distribution points. Expanding and overseeing the agency distribution network within the region will be a key focus area. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure optimal manpower allocation across territories will also be part of your duties. The ideal candidate should have a minimum qualification of HSC (12th pass), with a preference for Graduation. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and Business Development within the General Insurance or Financial Services sector is required. A solid understanding of sales processes in the insurance domain is crucial, and exposure to multiple insurance verticals (Life, Health, Motor) will be advantageous. Familiarity with financial products and advisory channels is desired. Key skills for this role include strong leadership and people management abilities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the capability to manage stakeholders and drive results in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related digital tools will be necessary for success in this position.
