Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals set for the general trade channel. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase product penetration and market share.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with stand-alone general trade partners. Regularly interact with key stakeholders, regional buyers, and decision-makers to understand their needs and align business objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, explore and secure new accounts, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand the company's market presence.
  • Ensure optimal product visibility and shelf presence in those outlets. Collaborate with merchandising teams to implement attractive product displays, promotions, and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior within the segment. Provide timely feedback and insights to management for strategic decision-making.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and contracts, ensure mutually beneficial agreements that align with the company's objectives.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and periodic reports on performance, achievements, and challenges. Use data-driven insights to improve sales performance and efficiency.

Desired skills/experience:

  • 6-7 years of work experience in FMCG sales, GT mandatory
  • Proven experience in sales and account management.
