Area Head

As an Area Head for Individual Loans at our company, your role involves developing and implementing strategies to achieve individual loan targets in the assigned area. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as customers, channel partners, and local authorities. Monitoring and analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to train and mentor a team of loan officers to ensure high-quality customer service and adherence to bank policies and procedures. Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members is also part of your duties. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements is essential. Collaboration with other departments to develop and launch new loan products tailored to the needs of the rural market is a key aspect of your role. Furthermore, preparing and presenting reports on loan portfolio performance to senior management is also part of your responsibilities. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in any stream, a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail banking with a focus on individual loans, a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, a strong understanding of the rural market and its dynamics, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to lead and motivate a team, sound knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.,
