Job Description

You will be responsible for leading and managing all field marketing initiatives in the assigned area to enhance brand awareness and increase market share. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing area-specific marketing plans in line with regional sales targets and brand guidelines. You will collaborate with Field Marketing Managers (FMMs), Sales Teams, and Trade Teams to ensure the coordinated execution of campaigns and promotions. Supervising the planning and execution of Below The Line (BTL) activities, product demonstrations, and customer activation events will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will analyze area-wise market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to fine-tune marketing strategies. It will be crucial for you to oversee the proper deployment and utilization of marketing collaterals, visibility materials, and vendor resources. Mentoring and guiding field marketing staff in campaign execution, brand compliance, and performance reporting will also be under your purview. Monitoring budgets and ensuring cost-effective deployment of marketing spends within the area will be essential. Additionally, reporting campaign effectiveness, Return on Investment (ROI), and key insights to the Regional and Central Marketing teams will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have a B.Sc Agri/ B.Sc Agri + M.Sc Agri/ MBA - ABM/ PhD degree along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Assamese, Hindi, and English languages is preferred. You should possess strategic thinking skills with a hands-on execution approach, strong verbal and written communication skills, and an analytical mindset to derive insights from field data. Managing cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders should be within your capabilities. Demonstrated experience in overseeing large-scale marketing campaigns at the area or regional level is required. Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential, while knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is an added advantage. A strong understanding of both rural and urban consumer markets, fluency in English and local language(s) with Hindi proficiency, and a willingness to travel extensively across the area are also vital for this role. ,
