Job Description

Role & responsibilities The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of incoming raw materials and packaging materials. Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming raw materials (e.g., organic substrates, microbial cultures, nutrients) and packaging materials (e.g., bags, labels) against established specifications and quality standards. Utilize appropriate inspection techniques, including visual inspection, physical tests, and chemical analysis (where applicable). Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports. Investigate and resolve any quality issues related to incoming materials, including communicating with suppliers and initiating corrective and preventive actions. Ensure timely release of approved materials for production. Collaborate with procurement and production departments to ensure the timely availability of high-quality materials. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and work instructions. Participate in supplier audits and evaluations. Maintain and update quality records and documentation as per regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with all relevant quality and regulatory standards, including ISO 9001, organic certification standards, and other applicable regulations. Timely availability of material as per desired quality standards. No Complaint against the raw & packaging material in plant as well from customers.
