Area Credit Manager-Supply Chain-Credit Appraisal-Ahmedabad - Naranpura-M4-M6

As an Underwriter for corporate finance business in the assigned area, your role involves supporting and co-partnering with business teams to manage end-to-end credit approval for the designated region. You will underwrite cases, present them to senior levels, and authorize deviations raised by underwriters in compliance with credit policy. Your responsibilities also include finalizing the review of credit memos, approving/declining files after checking for documentation requests, and approving all disbursement requests based on adherence to agreement value and full documentation attainment at the branch level. In this role, you will monitor and oversee PDD management, ensuring timely completion of personal discussion documents through customer visits in high-value cases. Additionally, you will coordinate with external vendors such as FI, Legal, and Technical valuations to ensure timely query resolution/report submission and eliminate any undue/non-process-related delays. You will also collaborate with the recoveries team to generate business insights and lead a team of credit approvers to ensure portfolio quality and minimize delinquencies. Your responsibilities will also include engaging in the development, implementation, review, and monitoring of various credit programs. Moreover, you will be providing training and coaching to continuously upgrade the competency of the team and enhance processing efficiency in the HUB. It is essential to ensure due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting, and sanctioning of loans. You will also be responsible for evolving underwriting norms customized to local market needs and ensuring the continuous enhancement and execution of consumer credit risk strategy. Qualifications required for this role include an MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or equivalent degree.,
