Area Credit Manager-Supply Chain-Credit Appraisal-Ahmedabad - Naranpura-M4-M6

You will be responsible for underwriting corporate finance business and managing the portfolio in your assigned area. This role involves supporting and collaborating with business teams to oversee the entire credit approval process for the designated region. You will underwrite cases and present them to senior management for approval. As an underwriter, you will be required to authorize deviations raised and documented by underwriters in accordance with the credit policy. It will be your responsibility to review credit memos prepared by underwriters and provide approval or decline sign-offs on each file after verifying documentation requests. Additionally, you will need to approve all disbursement requests based on the adherence to agreement value requirements and full documentation completion at the branch level. Monitoring and overseeing PDD management to ensure timely completion of personal discussion documents through customer visits in high-value cases will be part of your duties. You will also be responsible for coordinating with external vendors such as FI, Legal, and Technical valuations to resolve queries and ensure timely report submissions, eliminating any delays. Collaborating with the recoveries team to generate business insights, leading a team of credit approvers to maintain portfolio quality and manage delinquencies, and engaging in the development, implementation, review, and monitoring of various credit programs are key aspects of this role. Providing training and coaching to enhance the team's competency and improve processing efficiency will also be part of your responsibilities. You will need to ensure due diligence in credit analysis, customer application screening, evaluation, underwriting, and sanctioning of loans. Customizing underwriting norms to meet local market requirements and continuously enhancing and executing consumer credit risk strategies are essential for this role. The ideal candidate should have an MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or an equivalent qualification.,
