Area Credit Manager

As an Underwriter for construction finance proposals, your role involves underwriting loan applications based on the defined sanctioning authority level, processing applications in line with credit/compliance and company policies. You will work closely with Channel partners and Vendors to monitor SLA, maintain compliance, process monthly bills, and build strong relationships to ensure smooth unit operations. Your key responsibilities include: - Maintaining coordination with the State Credit Manager and delivering on key objectives. - Tracking performance metrics such as TAT, Approval Rate, and WIP cases to optimize application processing time and maintain control. - Sharing key MIS reports regularly with stakeholders to keep them informed. - Participating in Portfolio & PDD management alongside the State Credit Manager, including follow-up on delinquent cases, roll back, and stabilization of accounts. - Exercising effective control over FEMI, SEMI, and TEMI. - Providing timely training to the Credit processing team, Vendor agencies, and Business sourcing teams to enhance performance. Qualifications required: - Strong understanding of underwriting loan applications for construction finance. - Knowledge of credit/compliance processes and company policies. - Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. - Proficiency in analyzing and tracking performance metrics. - Experience in portfolio management and delinquent case follow-up is a plus.
