Area Collection Manager- Unsecured loans

The job involves monitoring a portfolio of unsecured loan accounts, such as personal loans and credit cards. You will be responsible for tracking delinquent accounts and prioritizing recovery efforts based on factors like risk, age of debt, and value. Developing and implementing effective recovery strategies, such as calling campaigns, legal action, and settlements, will be a key part of your role. Utilizing data analytics to segment customers and customize collection approaches will be essential. You will also lead and train collections agents or officers, set performance goals, and ensure compliance with both regulatory requirements and customer service standards. It will be your responsibility to ensure that collectors engage with borrowers professionally to recover dues and handle escalated disputes or complex customer issues. Coordinating with legal teams for high-risk or non-cooperative borrowers and recommending and following up on legal actions like sending legal notices or initiating court proceedings will be part of your duties. Additionally, preparing regular reports on collections performance, aging analysis, recovery rates, and other relevant metrics will be required.
