Area Business Manager

As a Sales Manager, your primary role is to oversee and manage the sales operations in the region. You will be responsible for interacting with key customers, third-party service providers, external auditors, distributors, RS Sales officers, dealers, and various internal teams such as the Product and Brand team, IRSG team, VM team, and Merchandising team. - Collaborate with the Regional Business Manager to develop annual business targets for the region and approve targets for distributors and dealers. - Provide inputs for sales planning and contribute to the formulation of the annual business plan. - Monitor the financial performance of distributors and dealers against set targets and implement corrective actions as needed. - Create ROI projections for new stores and ensure the expansion of stores across the region. - Develop and seek approvals for marketing plans, BTL activities, and budgets for regions, stores, and dealers. - Manage field sales operations, including scheme management, training, recruitment, and customer complaint resolution. - Drive a culture of diversity, performance, and transparency in the region and engage with employees to ensure talent pipeline creation and succession planning. - Graduate/Post-Graduate with an MBA degree. - 5-6 years of relevant experience in sales and retail, with knowledge in vendor management and process contributions. - Strong behavioral skills including customer centricity, delivering results, interpersonal effectiveness, team building, ambiguity tolerance, nurturing relationships, and influencing for impact.
