Architecture Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Architecture Design Engineer with a strong background in offshore project design to join our engineering team in Thiruvananthapuram . The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing architectural designs and layouts for offshore platforms and related structures, ensuring compliance with international standards and client specifications. Responsibilities : Develop architectural design concepts, layouts, and drawings for offshore structures and modules. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical engineers. Prepare and review architectural documentation including general arrangements, space planning, material specifications, and BOQs. Ensure compliance with applicable offshore standards (ABS, DNV, IMO, etc.) and client-specific requirements. Collaborate with project stakeholders, attend design reviews, and participate in offshore site visits when required. Support design optimization efforts to improve functionality, safety, and cost-efficiency of offshore assets. Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or other BIM tools to produce high-quality deliverables. Requirements : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in architectural design, with at least 2 years in offshore projects . Strong understanding of offshore design codes, modular building concepts, and safety regulations. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment. Show more Show less
