Job Summary:

Architectural & Interior Joinery Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural and Interior Design & Drafting:

• Prepare architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details in accordance with project specifications and local building codes.
• Develop 3D architectural and interior design models and visualizations using software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp or Revit.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and consultants to refine design details.
• Translate conceptual designs into detailed construction documentation.

Interior Joinery & Fitout Drafting:

• Develop comprehensive shop drawings for custom joinery and millwork items such as:
• Kitchen cabinetry
• Wardrobes
• Vanities
• Reception desks
• Wall paneling
• Built-in furniture
• Conduct site visits and take accurate site measurements.
• Adjust drawings to reflect real-world site conditions and resolve conflicts between architectural and joinery elements.
• Coordinate with workshop, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure constructability.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil,

  Architecture

  ,

  Interior Design

  ,

  Drafting

  , or related field.
• Minimum

  1–3 years of experience

  in both architectural drafting and joinery/shop drawing.
• Proficient in

  AutoCAD

  (essential); knowledge of

  Revit

• Strong knowledge of:
• Construction methods and detailing
• Joinery fabrication techniques
• Interior fitout standards
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings precisely.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and material specifications.

Salary Range: ₹1.2 L – ₹4.0L Per Year
