Job Title: Architectural & Interior Joinery Draftsman Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and versatile Architectural & Interior Joinery Draftsman to join our team. This role combines architectural drafting with highly detailed joinery/furniture drafting for interior fitout projects. The successful candidate will prepare architectural construction documents and develop precise joinery/shop drawings for manufacturing and installation, ensuring all components align with design intent, technical standards, and site requirements. Key Responsibilities: Architectural and Interior Design & Drafting: Prepare architectural drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details in accordance with project specifications and local building codes. Develop 3D architectural and interior design models and visualizations using software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp or Revit. Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and consultants to refine design details. Translate conceptual designs into detailed construction documentation. Interior Joinery & Fitout Drafting: Develop comprehensive shop drawings for custom joinery and millwork items such as: Kitchen cabinetry Wardrobes Vanities Reception desks Wall paneling Built-in furniture Conduct site visits and take accurate site measurements. Adjust drawings to reflect real-world site conditions and resolve conflicts between architectural and joinery elements. Coordinate with workshop, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure constructability. Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Civil, Architecture , Interior Design , Drafting , or related field. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in both architectural drafting and joinery/shop drawing. Proficient in AutoCAD (essential); knowledge of Revit , SketchUp , D5 Render & Lumion is a strong advantage. Strong knowledge of: Construction methods and detailing Joinery fabrication techniques Interior fitout standards Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings precisely. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and material specifications. Desirable Attributes: Experience in high-end residential , commercial , or hospitality fitouts . Ability to manage multiple drafting packages across different project phases (concept to completion). Problem-solver with a practical understanding of onsite challenges. Basic understanding of 3D modeling or rendering tools (optional but a bonus).
