Architectural Draftsman / Detail Developer

The Architectural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, fabrication details, and shop drawings for natural stone projects such as countertops, facades, flooring, cladding, staircases, and other architectural applications. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of architectural plans and stone fabrication processes.

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D shop drawings, cutting lists, and installation layouts based on architectural and design intent drawings.
• Interpret and analyze architectural, structural, and interior design drawings to create precise stone fabrication details.
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and production teams to ensure all drawings meet project specifications and manufacturing capabilities.
• e and update drawings based on client feedback, site measurements, and fabrication adjustments.
• Maintain drawing files, version control, and organized documentation for each project.
• Assist in material take-offs, quantity estimation, and nesting optimization for stone slabs.
• Collaborate with installers to ensure design accuracy and resolve on-site discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards across all drafted documentation.
