Job Description

1. Educational QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) is the minimum requirement. A Master’s degree (M.Arch) is preferred for advanced or specialized roles. Graduation must be from a recognized architecture school approved by relevant governing bodies (e.g., COA in India, NAAB in the US). 2. Professional License/CertificationRegistration with the Council of Architecture (COA) (in India) or equivalent local/national licensing authority. In some countries, passing exams like the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) is necessary. 3. ExperienceEntry-level roles: 0–2 years of internship or junior architect experience. Mid-level roles: 3–7 years of architectural design, project execution, and client coordination. Senior roles: 8+ years of project leadership, construction documentation, team management, and client-facing responsibilities. 4. Technical SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-RAY or Lumion. Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, construction methods, and materials. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools. Basic understanding of sustainable design and green building standards (e.g., LEED). 5. Soft SkillsStrong design thinking and creative abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Good project management and time management. Team collaboration and leadership qualities for senior roles. 6. Other RequirementsA portfolio of work showcasing design projects and technical drawings. Willingness to travel to project sites. Awareness of industry trends, modern architecture styles, and technological advancements.
