You will be joining the Housekeeping department of Gateway Nashik, a part of the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) which is a prestigious hospitality company under the Tata Group, known for its exceptional guest experiences and diverse portfolio of hotels, resorts, and palaces. **Role Overview:** As an apprentice in the Housekeeping department, your main objective will be to support daily departmental activities while gaining hands-on experience in a hotel setting. You will undergo structured training, job rotation, and on-the-job learning under supervision to develop foundational knowledge of hospitality operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in various day-to-day tasks such as guest check-in/check-out, room cleaning, food service, administrative support, or kitchen prep as per departmental requirements. - Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for service delivery, cleanliness, safety, and quality. - Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at your workstation, handle equipment and supplies properly. - Engage professionally with guests and internal stakeholders to ensure a positive service experience. - Attend departmental briefings, on-the-job trainings, and workshops to enhance your understanding of hotel operations. - Adhere to grooming standards, punctuality, and conduct expectations set by the organization. - Support smooth departmental handovers and maintain effective communication with colleagues and supervisors. - Monitor supplies or inventory, report shortages or requirements to the supervisor promptly. - Respond positively to instructions and feedback, demonstrating a willingness to learn and improve. - Maintain a learning log or progress sheet as part of the apprenticeship program requirements. **Qualification Required:** - Keen interest in hospitality and service excellence. - Guided by a contract of apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
