About the Team
The Enhanced Application Managed Services (EAMS) team provides technical L1/L2 support for FIS products and clients Treasury and Payments business operations.
What You Will Be Doing
- We are looking for an experienced EAMS Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will:
Provide L1/L2 technical support
for enterprise applications and resolve client-reported issues promptly. Perform daily health checks
on critical systems and ensure smooth application operations. Monitor system alerts and logs
, proactively identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions. Troubleshoot application errors
and coordinate with development or infrastructure teams for escalations. Manage incident tickets
in ITSM tools, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation. Assist in application deployments
, patching, and configuration changes as per release schedules. Maintain knowledge base articles
and update SOPs for recurring issues and fixes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams
to address performance, security, and compliance requirements. Provide client communication and status updates
during incident resolution and maintenance activities. Participate in root cause analysis (RCA)
and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Bring
- 3 to 6 years of experience in L1/L2 support roles on Windows Server OS family.
- Good experience in Product support for client-facing applications.
- Hands-on experience with Windows PowerShell scripting.
- Good knowledge of Windows services.
- Understanding of Windows Batch File scripting, and TCP/IP concepts.
- Experience in SFTP connectivity and troubleshooting. Basic SMTP understanding.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g.,Remedy, ServiceNow) for incident management.
- Willing to work in 24/5 Rotational basis shifts + Weekend activities as per requirement
