Application Support

As a production support engineer, your role involves resolving production support issues within the given SLA. You will be responsible for performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues and collaborating with the development team for permanent solutions. Additionally, you will participate in knowledge transfer sessions to enhance your understanding of the product and domain. Your analytical skills will be crucial in suggesting fixes for complex issues after conducting a detailed analysis of the root cause and defect impact. You will also work closely with the Application Development Team to ensure successful deployment of software releases in User Acceptance Testing and Production environments. Monitoring process and software changes that affect production support, communicating project information to the support staff, and escalating production support issues to the project team are also part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Resolve production support issues within the specified SLA - Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and collaborate with the development team for permanent fixes - Participate in knowledge transfer sessions to enhance product and domain understanding - Analyze complex issues and suggest fixes based on root cause analysis - Coordinate with the Application Development Team for software release deployments - Monitor process and software changes impacting production support - Communicate project information to the production support staff - Escalate production support issues to the project team Qualifications Required: - BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (CS)/ M.Sc (CS) - Knowledge of OS (Linux, Unix, and Windows) - Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL, MySQL - Familiarity with patch deployments and server configurations - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work well in a team and deliver within schedules Experience: 3 to 7 years Number of Open Positions: 4 Type: Full Time (Permanent) Notice Period: Immediate/ Serving Notice Period/ Less than 30 days,
