Application Support

As an Application Support Analyst at FIS, you will play a crucial role in providing in-depth product support to FIS clients. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Resolving incoming inquiries from customers via telephone, email, or chat sessions. - Addressing customer concerns related to installation, operation, maintenance, or compatibility matters. - Troubleshooting issues with electro/mechanical equipment or software applications and providing corrective actions. - Documenting customer information and recurring technical issues to enhance product quality programs and development. To excel in this role, you should have: - Minimum 1-4 years of hands-on experience in Unix, Linux, and SQL. - Willingness to work the Australian Day Shift from 5.00 AM to 2.00 PM. - Knowledge of the Derivative market, especially in post-trade activities. - Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships while showcasing deep technical and functional expertise. - Familiarity with project methodologies such as AGILE and Waterfall. Additionally, it would be advantageous if you possess: - Knowledge of FIS products and services. - Understanding of the financial services industry and basic financial analysis principles.
