Must have skills : Site Reliability Engineering Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the improvement of system performance and stability. Roles & Responsibilities: Expected to perform independently and become an SME. Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Monitor and maintain the performance and availability of critical business systems. Provide support to end-users and address their queries and concerns. Identify and analyze system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate solutions. Participate in the development and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering. Strong understanding of system reliability concepts and best practices. Experience with incident management and problem-solving methodologies. Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools to ensure system availability and performance. Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies such as AWS or Azure. Good To Have Skills: Experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash. Solid grasp of networking concepts and protocols. Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes. Additional Information: The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering. This position is based at our Bengaluru office. A 15 years full-time education is required.
