Application Support Analyst

As an Application Support Analyst based in Sydney, your role will involve providing day-to-day support for international trade applications. You will collaborate with the Business Support team to address issues within trade apps and the overall environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Technical troubleshooting encompassing workflow behavior, system performance, user experience issues, interfaces (batch & real-time), reporting, and overall environment issues. - Responding to queries from interfacing systems (both external and internal) and assisting in resolving data, connectivity, and reconciliation issues. - Timely completion of audit requests (internal and external) and involvement in trade applications project work to ensure the integrity of the Production environment is maintained as a top priority. - Investigating and developing fixes for small bugs or functionality issues, along with incident and problem management. - Resolution of major incidents in a time-sensitive environment and ensuring that all batches are completed as per SLA. - Monitoring maintenance and capacity, participating in disaster recovery, and contributing to performance availability and reliability improvements. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and certifications: Must-Have/Mandatory: - Good analytical & troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work under pressurized environments. - Good communication skills (Oral, Verbal & Written). - Set of Technical skills including Windows, MS SQL, JBOSS/Java, Control-M, MQ, and support experience. - Self-driven, proactive team player. - Ability to troubleshoot and think creatively to resolve rarely seen problems. - Participation in on-call roster. - Knowledge of trade operations, Documentary Collections, Documentary Credit, Trade Finance, and Guarantees. Good-to-Have/Desirable: - Relevant certifications. - ITIL/production support background. - Interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, AppD, Splunk.
