Job Description

As an Application Support Analyst 1 at apexanalytix, you will play a crucial role in providing technical leadership and support for APEX's apexportal Solutions software applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing and resolving technical support tickets. - Partnering with Product Manager and R&D teams to prioritize support tickets. - Facilitating effective and proactive communications with both internal and external customers. - Testing product-level functionality and new releases, identifying and communicating areas for improvement. - Serving as the technical expert for client software implementations. - Managing software upgrades and serving as a primary contact for clients' IT department. - Troubleshooting network, database, and software problems for client implementations. - Configuring system settings, executing testing, creating rules, and data transfer mappings using SQL query. - Presenting technical overviews of apexportal Solutions software applications and technical requirements to clients during upgrades. - Managing the setup of technical environments for hosted clients and leading testing of interfaces. - Working with Help Desk personnel to resolve client installation issues. - Enforcing corporate policies documented in the Apex Corporate Security Standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. - Exposure to SQL Server for data definition, manipulation, control, and administration. - Development skills including creating and troubleshooting DTS packages, stored procedures, and complex data queries. - Knowledge of FTP, secure FTP, and PGP, as well as using Command Prompt and its commands. - A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - Customer-facing experience with large customers is preferred. - 3-5 years of experience in SQL.
