As a Customer Support Specialist in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry, you will be responsible for **emphasizing the role's focus on customer interaction, training, and support**. To qualify for this role, you must possess a **minimum of 5 years of experience** in the IVD industry and hold a **Master's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field**. Your academic background will enable you to grasp the intricacies of the company's IVD products and effectively communicate their applications and performance characteristics to customers. Having **in-depth product knowledge** is crucial in this position. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of the company's IVD products, including their features, functionalities, and benefits. Proficiency in various **laboratory techniques** and procedures relevant to the products is also essential to address customer queries and provide technical support effectively. Your role will involve **data analysis** to interpret and draw insights from data generated by IVD tests. Strong **troubleshooting** skills will be required to resolve technical issues promptly and provide customers with effective solutions. **Time management** skills are essential for efficiently handling multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring that customer needs are met in a timely manner. Adaptability is key in this role, as you must be flexible to **changing customer needs and market dynamics**. A **sales orientation** will be advantageous, as it involves an understanding of sales processes and the ability to contribute to sales goals through customer interactions and support. Moreover, you should have strong **technical writing** skills to create clear and concise technical documentation for customers. This documentation will serve as a guide for customers to understand and utilize the IVD products effectively. Please note that this position requires **more than 50% travel** from the given HQ.
