Application Specialist - Senior

Your role as a Teamcenter PLM Senior Application Support Specialist will be crucial in assisting product and program teams to optimize the utilization of engineering systems like PLM, CAD, and CAE. By collaborating with stakeholders, you will contribute to enhancing and implementing improvements in engineering systems while also supporting future investments. Key Responsibilities: - Resolve complex and time-critical L3 support incidents within agreed SLAs - Code and deploy Teamcenter enhancements and bug fixes - Provide guidance and support to users in diagnosing and resolving Teamcenter (PLM) issues - Conduct comprehensive functionality tests on new and updated applications to ensure desired results - Lead root cause investigations and PD changes/updates - Train Junior L3 & L2 team members on Teamcenter PLM technical support - Develop or modify reports as per business requirements - Escalate unresolved reporting issues to L4 and the delivery manager - Update entity relationship data model - Provide desktop and engineering application support, including hardware/software maintenance - Communicate configurations/customizations to the technical team - Coordinate with application vendors and infrastructure team for issue resolution Qualification Required: - 5+ years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter - 2+ years of experience with Polarion - 2+ years of experience with engineering CAD and ECAD applications (NX, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Cadence, Altium, etc.) - 2+ years of experience as a senior systems analyst, database administrator, or other IT management role - 2+ years of experience in application, desktop, and infrastructure support Additional Company Details: The company is looking for someone with Teamcenter expertise in modeling, integration, analytics, scheduling, and reporting. Knowledge in XML script, HTML, JavaScript, and HA is preferred. Familiarity with relational databases (Microsoft SQL server, Oracle, etc.) and SQL is considered advantageous. Moreover, having a strong research, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills, understanding and experience in plant manufacturing processes, basic knowledge and experience in ERP (SAP) processes, basic understanding of engineering applications (NX, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Cadence, Altium, etc.), and demonstrated success in collaborating with cross-functional teams will be beneficial.
