Job Description

Assist in conducting Static (SAST) and Dynamic (DAST) application security testing using industry tools.
Review and triage application vulnerabilities, validate findings, and document results.
Perform basic penetration testing on web and mobile applications under guidance.
Collaborate with developers to guide remediation steps for low/medium severity issues.
Maintain vulnerability tracking logs and support audit documentation requirements.
Support security champions program by assisting development teams with secure coding practices.
Participate in code reviews and security checkpoints during SDLC phases.
Escalate high-risk vulnerabilities and anomalies to L2/L3 for deeper analysis.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Basic understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices.
Familiarity with SAST/DAST tools like Checkmarx, Fortify, Burp Suite , or OWASP ZAP .
Exposure to scripting (Python, Bash) or basic coding (Java, .NET) for test automation or scanning.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and CI/CD integrations.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
