Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or in a related software engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience architecting and implementing APIs in Apigee, using a combination of technologies, languages, and standards such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, OpenAPI, Python, Java, JavaScript, and Kubernetes.
Experience with API gateway/management, Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Crossplane, Pulumi, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in private, public (Cloud Platforms), and hybrid cloud design considerations and limitations in areas such as virtualization, containerization and container orchestration (like using Kubernetes), serverless, event-driven architecture, global infrastructure, distributed systems and datastores (like Cassandra), load balancing, networking, and security.
Experience in implementing API Security and Threat Modelling using SAML Assertion, OAuth 2.0, etc.
Understanding of terminologies and concepts related to AI, including LLMs, inference, and Agents.
Knowledge of Multi/Hybrid Cloud exposure through Google Distributed Cloud (formerly known as Anthos), OpenShift, Rancher, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of API Development and Lifecycle.
