Application Lead Global AMS (Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript)

Application Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery and support of

  non-SAP applications

  in a global AMS environment, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Manage the

  end-to-end CR lifecycle

  including assessment, effort estimation, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.

• Coordinate closely with client stakeholders, business users, and internal technical teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.

• Handle

  incident management

  ,

  problem resolution

  , and

  service requests

  using ITSM tools like

  ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy

  .

• Supervise and participate in

  application development and enhancements

  using technologies such as

  Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Magento Commerce

  .

• Drive and track

  SLA compliance

  ,

  KPI adherence

  , and ensure service quality through continuous monitoring and improvements.

• Manage

  expectations

  by proactively communicating timelines, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with

  QA and testing teams

  to ensure test coverage using tools like

  Jira, TestRail, Selenium, or Postman

  .

• Manage and mentor a team of developers and support engineers across geographies; ensure effective task distribution and performance management.

• Participate in release planning, deployment coordination, and change control activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8-10 years of experience in application support and development for

  enterprise applications

  .

• Hands-on expertise in

  Angular (latest versions), JavaScript, TypeScript

  , and

  Magento Commerce

  (B2B/B2C).

• Experience managing

  AMS/production support

  ,

  enhancements

  , and

  minor/major releases

  .

• Proficient in using ITSM and incident management tools such as

  ServiceNow

  ,

  Jira

  , or

  Remedy

  .

• Solid experience with

  SLA/KPI tracking

  , client reporting, and expectation management.

• Strong understanding of

  Agile and ITIL-based delivery models

  .

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Proven experience in managing distributed/global teams.

• Ability to work in

  Mountain Time shift

  (USA timezone coverage).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Angular, Magento, or Agile methodologies are a plus.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field?

Shift: USA Coverage Mountain Time (MT)

Note: Additional compensation for night shift duties will be provided as per company policy. Transportation support may be arranged for late-night logouts, if applicable.
