Application Engineers

Job overview We are looking for an application engineer with at least 3+ years of in the 24/7 application support team.

Technical Skills

1. Proficient in Windows Administration

2. Knowledge of Azure and DevOps is an advantage.

3. Basic networking knowledge

4. Should be willing to work in 24/7 shifts

Essential skills

• Candidates must have a strong grasp of application support procedures and functions.

• They should possess a clear understanding of L1/L2/L3 roles and responsibilities.

• Candidates should be capable of independently managing and taking ownership of resolving incidents from start to finish.

• Strong communication skills are necessary to interact regularly with clients.

• Work closely with development teams and QA teams to ensure smooth application integration and deployment.

• Manage and prioritize incidents, service requests, and change requests related to applications. Document and track issues using a ticketing system.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

• Proven experience in a technical support or customer service role

• Strong understanding of software applications and systems

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users

• Experience in documenting processes and procedures

Desired Skills and Experience Application Support, IIS, SQL, Windows Administration, DevOps, and Azure

Education: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
