Position Title: Application Engineer Reports To: Application Engineer Manager Role Type: Individual Contribution Location: Kolkata Job Responsibilities: The key purpose of the job is to develop and promote segment-oriented Application Solutions for Railways and manage Condition Monitoring projects in the Railways Sector. The ideal job holder should have 3-6 years of experience primarily in application engineering, maintenance exposure, or services, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Mining Engineering. High technical competence and knowledge about SKF Products and Solutions are essential, along with good communication skills at the senior management level. Knowledge of Railway Systems and processes such as product approval cycles and customer complaint management is also required. Key Responsibilities include developing high-quality application engineering solutions for customers in the segment, supporting the commercial proposals process, achieving business plans, documenting solutions developed with customers, conducting training and development activities, actively participating in technical forums, managing technical complaints, communicating with customers, conducting technical seminars, building long-term relationships with customers, evaluating profitability, staying updated on technologies, developing internal networks, striving for continuous improvement, supporting projects, products, and services, and adhering to quality procedures and Code of Conduct.
