Books team in Amazon is its oldest business and Kindle has been the leading the digital transformation of this centuries old business. KNFE team within Amazon books is engaged on thinking and building features for Kindle which will make reading a delightful and differentiated experience. Our team owns key customer facing features like X-Ray, Notes/Highlights, Popular highlights, Search inside a book, PhotoQuotes and many more. We own these features end-to-end. We are responsible for the backend micro-service architecture, the ML that powers these features as well as the seamless CX on iOS, Android and E-reader. Key job responsibilities Perform software deployments, support operations, software upgrades and migrations Support and enable faster software delivery by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating them. Knowledge on Java, Python scripting languages. Troubleshoot, debug, evaluate and resolve identified alarms Problem-solving and passion for operational excellence Must be able to prioritise, follow-through with detail-orientation independently. Good verbal and written communication skills Basic Qualifications 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems Experience in Unix Experience scripting in modern program languages Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development Experience troubleshooting & maintaining hardware & software RAID Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON - Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development - Experience troubleshooting & maintaining software - Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON Company - ADCI - Tamil Nadu Job ID: A2699462 Show more Show less
