Role Overview: As an Architectural Application Designer at the company, your role is to create exceptional and detailed architectural application designs, providing thought leadership to enable delivery teams to ensure exceptional client engagement and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Develop architectural applications for new deals and major change requests in existing deals by: - Creating an enterprise-wide architecture for scalable, reliable, and manageable systems - Managing application assets and directing development efforts to improve solution delivery and agility - Guiding the construction and assembly of application components and services to support solution architecture - Maintaining frameworks and artefacts used in application implementation - Providing solutions for RFPs from clients and ensuring overall design assurance - Developing a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be-solutions - Analysing technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to set a collaboration design framework - Providing technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of custom solutions - Defining current state solutions, identifying improvements, options, and tradeoffs for target state solutions - Evaluating and recommending solutions to integrate with the overall technology ecosystem - Providing technical and strategic inputs during project planning phases - Collaborating with relevant parties to review objectives and constraints of solutions - Creating new revenue streams within applications as APIs - Bringing knowledge of automation in applications through Agile and DevOps principles - Understanding application requirements and designing standardized applications by: - Creating Intellectual Property in forms of services, patterns, and organizational approaches - Designing patterns, best practices, and reusable applications - Ensuring system capabilities are consumed by system components - Providing a platform for standardized tools, uniform design, and techniques - Coordinating input on risks, costs, and opportunities for concepts - Developing customized applications for customers aligned with their needs - Performing design and code reviews regularly - Working closely with team members to ensure successful production of application software - Offering viable solutions for various systems and architectures - Ensuring seamless integration of new and existing systems - Transforming applications into digital form and implementing mesh app and service architecture - Cloud Transformation: - Understanding non-functional requirements - Producing artifacts such as deployment architecture and interface catalog - Identifying internal and external dependencies - Supporting build and testing teams - Understanding and defining target architecture in the integration space - Assessing project pipeline/demand and aligning with target architecture - Providing technical support to delivery teams in terms of POC and technical guidance Qualifications Required: - Experience: 8-10 years Additional Company Details (if available): The company is described as an end-to-end digital transformation partner with ambitious goals of reinvention.
