Role Overview: As an Application Architect - L1 at Wipro Limited, your role is crucial in creating exceptional and detailed architectural application designs. You will provide thought leadership and enable delivery teams to ensure exceptional client engagement and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Develop architectural applications for new deals and major change requests in existing deals - Create an enterprise-wide architecture that ensures scalability, reliability, and manageability - Manage application assets and direct development efforts to improve solution delivery and agility - Guide the construction and assembly of application components and services to support solution architecture and development - Maintain frameworks and artifacts used in the implementation of applications within the overall portfolio - Provide solutions for RFPs from clients and ensure overall design assurance - Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be-solutions to align with business outcome objectives - Analyze technology environment, client requirements, and collaboration design framework - Provide technical leadership in design, development, and implementation of custom solutions - Define target state solutions, articulate architectural targets, and propose investment roadmaps - Evaluate and recommend solutions to integrate with the technology ecosystem - Track industry and application trends to plan current and future IT needs - Collaborate with relevant parties to review objectives and constraints of solutions - Identify implementation risks and potential impacts - Create new revenue streams within applications as APIs for client leverage - Bring automation knowledge in applications by embracing Agile and dev-ops principles - Understand application requirements and design standardized applications - Create Intellectual Property in the form of services, patterns, and models - Design patterns, best practices, and reusable applications for future use - Ensure system capabilities are consumed by components and set criteria for technical and business value evaluation - Provide a platform for standardized tools, design, and techniques maintenance - Coordinate input on risks, costs, and opportunities for concepts - Develop customized applications aligned with customer needs - Conduct design and code reviews regularly focusing on security measures - Collaborate with team members to ensure successful production of application software - Offer viable solutions for various systems and architectures - Integrate new and existing systems seamlessly to reduce potential problems and maintain data structure Qualifications Required: - Understanding of non-functional requirements in Cloud Transformation - Ability to produce artifacts such as deployment architecture and interface catalog - Experience in cloud modernization and defining target architecture in the integration space - Technical support in terms of POC and technical guidance for delivery teams - Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies in the market Note: Wipro Limited is a leading technology services and consulting company focused on digital transformation.
