Position: Appium Test Engineer

Location: Pune, MH (Hybrid, 3x a week)

Job Summary:

Appium Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using

  Appium

  for mobile applications (Android & iOS).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure high-quality product delivery.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing for mobile applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like

  JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar

  .
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Ensure compatibility across multiple devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
• Provide detailed test reports and ensure timely communication of test results.
• Continuously research and recommend new automation tools, techniques, and strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Automation Tester, with hands-on expertise in

  Appium

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  Java, Python, or JavaScript

  for writing automation scripts.
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks and tools (

  TestNG, Maven, Gradle, etc.

  ).
• Familiarity with

  mobile debugging tools

  (ADB, Xcode, Android Studio).
• Knowledge of

  REST API testing

  (using Postman/RestAssured).
• Experience with

  Git/SVN

  for version control.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with

  cloud-based mobile testing platforms

  like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm.
• Exposure to

  BDD frameworks

  (Cucumber, Behave).
• Knowledge of

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  .
• Experience in

  performance and security testing

  for mobile apps.
