Job Description

We are seeking a skilled APM Analyst - Dynatrace to join our offshore support team. This individual will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining Dynatrace monitoring to proactively detect application errors, performance anomalies, and infrastructure events. The role will also include configuring alert integrations to Zoho Desk (Service Desk) to ensure timely incident creation and visibility for the L1 operations team.
Key Responsibilities

Configure and manage Dynatrace agents, dashboards, and alerting rules across application and infrastructure layers.
Define and implement error and event detection logic to identify incidents such as API failures, latency spikes, and backend exceptions.
Integrate Dynatrace with Zoho Desk / Service Desk to automate incident generation and routing.
Tune thresholds, alert sensitivity, and baselines to minimize false positives and improve signal quality.
Collaborate with L2 and L3 engineering teams for root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain runbooks, alert documentation, and escalation workflows.
Support performance monitoring and health checks for production and non-production environments.
Participate in knowledge transfer and training sessions for L1 support teams to strengthen ongoing operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Dynatrace setup, configuration, and administration.
Deep understanding of APM concepts (metrics, traces, logs, baselines, and synthetic monitoring).
Proven experience integrating Dynatrace with Zoho Desk or other ITSM tools.
Familiarity with incident management frameworks (ITIL) and support processes.
Basic knowledge of infrastructure monitoring (servers, containers, network, cloud services).
Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Dynatrace Certified Professional or Associate.
Experience working in an AMS or production monitoring environment supporting enterprise systems.
Exposure to Zoho Desk workflows, automation, and incident escalation design.
Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes/Docker monitoring.
