ROUTINE ACCOUNTING GL Responsibilities for Australia Assist ANZ Finance Manager with completion and collation of all month end activities including: Ensuring that all necessary journals or system procedures have been performed for month end Ensuring that all transactions are accurately calculated and processed on a timely basis Ensuring that all general ledger accounts are reconciled monthly Review outstanding reconciliation items and ensure that items are resolved promptly REGULATORY ASIC: Financial Statements Submission Assist ANZ Finance Manager /
Finance Director with the following: Preparation of statutory financial statements Preparation of unqualified IFRS compliant general purpose statutory accounts for the Australian legal entity Preparation of year end IFRS adjustment journals Significant involvement in the year end audit process for both financial statements and AFSL Coordination and preparation of audit work papers and requisite year end reconciliations as required Coordination of all internal ADP Reporting requirements to ESI/Corp as required on monthly/quarterly/annual basis ATO: Tax Submissions Assist ANZ Finance Manager / Finance Director with preparation and submission of Corporate Income Tax Returns: Assistance in preparing the consolidated Income tax return for ADP and other ADP entities in the consolidated group
Assistance in preparing the MF, LF and CbCR for ADP and other ADP entities in the consolidated group Assist review process with external tax agent (EY) prior to lodgement to the ATO Assist with preparation of Franking Account Tax Return Coordination and preparation of the standalone Income Tax work papers and reconciliations Assist ANZ Finance Manager / Finance Director with preparation and submission of Fringe Benefits Tax Returns: Assist in preparation of the Fringe Benefits Tax Return for ADP Assist review process with external tax agent (EY) prior to lodgement to the ATO Coordination and preparation of all FBT work papers and reconciliations
Assist ANZ Finance Manager / Finance Director with preparation and submission of GST and IAS Reporting: Preparation and submission of BAS and IAS monthly to the ATO including all supporting schedules required Coordination and preparation of all supporting work papers and reconciliations Assist ANZ Finance Manager / Finance Director with preparation and submission of PAYG withholding annual report: Preparation and submission of PAYG withholding from interest, dividend and royalty payments paid to non-residents annual report Coordination and preparation of all supporting work papers and reconciliations Other responsibilities Assist ANZ Finance manager with all insurance related matters as necessary
Annual review of TPAR (Taxable Payments Annual Return) Oversight of all funds management/treasury related activities Assist ANZ Finance Manager with any ADP internal audit requirements Assist ANZ Finance Manager with all OFAC related reporting requirements Support with periodic BCP reviews and updates Preparation of monthly SLF (Surplus Liquid Funds) calculations together with all other AFSL compliance obligations Update and maintain all internal procedure documentation Any other projects as directed by Finance manager from time to time
10 plus years of accounting experience. End to End Month close activity VAT and GST filing Assist ANZ Finance manager with all insurance related matters as necessary Annual review of TPAR (Taxable Payments Annual Return) Oversight of all funds management/treasury related activities Assist ANZ Finance Manager with any ADP internal audit requirements Assist ANZ Finance Manager with all OFAC related reporting requirements Support with periodic BCP reviews and updates Preparation of monthly SLF (Surplus Liquid Funds) calculations together with all other AFSL compliance obligations Update and maintain all internal procedure documentation Any other projects as directed by Finance manager from time to time
