Accounts Payable Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Ensure timely processing of all nature of bills/ invoices/memos of TIL Bangalore while complying with companys

processes, procedures, guidelines, and policies.

2. End to end follow-up to resolve any open item.

3. Ensure timely response on Payable related queries internal & external.

4. Assisting in accounting related analytics, MIS.

5. Timely and accurately completing all month close/ quarter close/ annual close deadlines.

6. Effective interactions with cross functional team and with various levels of management

7. Support on Treasury documentation work.

8. Ensure zero non-compliance in areas of responsibility.

9. Support completion of various audits in timely manner.

Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations

Indian accounting (USGAAP knowledge, IFRS ok)

End to end knowledge of Accounts payable area

Knowledge of GST, TDS etc applicable for Indian accounting

Proven working experience as accounting staff – 2 to 5 years of experience. Preferably in manufacturing

organization. (Experience in BPO operation not preferred).

Experience in SAP based accounting/ similar ERP, computer skills on MS Office – particularly excel,

PowerPoint. Knowledge of basic formulas, Pivot table, V look up, graphs etc.

Having basic knowledge various analytics skills and comfortable with various technology and applications

Keeping updated with changes in finance and accounting areas
