Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Android Developer to join our mobile development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with outside data sources and APIs.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs to improve performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Android app development using Java and/or Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and common third-party libraries and APIs.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Jetpack components, MVVM/MVC architecture, or Reactive Programming.
• Familiarity with Google Play Store deployment process.
• Knowledge of Flutter or other cross-platform tools is a plus.
• Understanding of Material Design principles.
