Job Description

Key Responsibilities : Architect and Develop Embedded Software : Design and implement high-performance Android Automotive solutions using Embedded C/C++. Android HAL & Middleware Development : Work extensively with Android Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and Middleware to optimize automotive applications. Android OS Porting & System Integration : Ensure smooth Android OS porting, with familiarity in Board Support Package (BSP), Hypervisor, and GKI. Compliance & Certification : Ensure adherence to XTS certification standards for compliance with Google SDK. Automotive Connectivity & Infotainment : Integrate and enhance features related to Android Auto, CarPlay, and other automotive connectivity platforms. Software Integration & CI/CD : Collaborate with DevOps teams for seamless software integration, GIT management, and CI/CD automation. Performance Optimization & Debugging : Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to enhance system stability and efficiency. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with hardware, firmware, and application teams to define system architecture and optimize performance. Required Skills & Qualifications : 8+ years of experience in Embedded C/C++ development for automotive or embedded systems. Strong expertise in Android HAL, Middleware, and automotive connectivity. Hands-on experience with Android OS porting, BSP, Hypervisor, and GKI. Familiarity with XTS certification processes for Google SDK compliance. Proficiency in GIT and experience with software integration within CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical and debugging skills for system optimization. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications : Prior experience working with Tier 1 automotive suppliers or OEMs. Knowledge of AUTOSAR, Functional Safety (ISO 26262),or Cybersecurity is an added advantage.
