The Policy Monitoring team within the GMNS Merchant Operations organization is seeking an Analyst to contribute to operational policy compliance programs, enforcement activities, and governance initiatives for GMNS. Your role will play a vital part in enhancing overall Network performance, increasing customer satisfaction, and safeguarding the American Express brand. Key Responsibilities: - Understand relationships between Network Participants and Merchants to drive Network & Merchant policy compliance. - Evaluate policy adequacy, identify potential gaps, and propose control enhancements. - Interpret internal policies and regulatory requirements relevant to the financial industry. - Collaborate with risk, compliance, legal, and business teams to resolve issues. - Offer advisory support during policy or process changes to ensure compliance with audit and regulatory expectations. - Assist GMNS Merchant Operations leadership in advancing policy compliance programs. - Serve as a subject matter expert on Policy Compliance deliverables. Qualifications Required: - Graduate / Post-graduate in Fraud/ Compliance/ Risk Management with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience. Key Skills Required: - Previous experience in audit, policy compliance, or risk governance. - Proficient knowledge of Policy Compliance requirements and consequence management. - Familiarity with the network and merchant business model, including processes and terminology. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of presenting complex issues clearly. - Analytical mindset and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc. is a plus). - Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at handling multiple deadlines simultaneously. - Flexibility with work hours to meet audit timelines and business demands.
