Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the site Master Data processes to ensure accurate and timely creation and maintenance of master data in the ERP System, in line with local and global requirements. As a Material Planner, you will drive the tactical purchasing process for all materials to ensure materials availability and execution plan feasibility, following the Site inventory policy. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and perform complex local and global master data setup and establish processes, guidelines, business matrix, and SLA timelines in a GxP environment, adhering to Novartis compliance. - Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the assigned area of work, supporting data collection and reporting of KPIs, logistic, and W&D processes. - Ensure all logistic processes are executed in a timely, high-quality, efficient, and effective manner, complying with all laws and supply chain management policies. - Identify and drive continuous improvement projects. - Ensure material availability aligns with the approved production plan. - Provide daily MRP oversight for all BOM materials, analyze requirements, and manage Purchase Orders. - Own MRP relevant data and materials technical specifications in the ERP System, ensuring no Purchase Orders are past due. - Manage purchased item complaints/returns to suppliers. - Provide a load-balanced dispatch list for incoming materials to the warehouse and Quality department to meet production needs. - Control and follow-up on supplier service level indicators such as Quality OTIF and lead-time violations. - Lead action plans to achieve supplier delivery performance targets and drive continuous improvement. - Report technical complaints/adverse events related to Novartis products promptly. - Provide guidance and system support for returns, rebates, and credit/debit notes. - Define priorities for physical deliveries in collaboration with other functions. - Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for escalation issues for assigned customers. - Ensure management of daily MRP exception messages and provide appropriate follow-up. Qualification Required: - Proficiency in Inventory Management, Gap Analysis, Cost Efficiency, and supply processes efficiency. - Understanding of Standard Master Data KPIs like Completeness, Consistency, and Accuracy. - Commitment to on-time, in-full delivery of business basics, budgets, quality compliance, etc. - Focus on Customer Service Level (e.g., OTIF).
