Key Responsibilities: - Understand know your customer concepts, including customer identification, due diligence, and regulatory compliance requirements. - Analyse customer data to identify inconsistencies and escalate potential red flags related to financial crime risks. - Meticulously review customer documents and information, ensuring correctness and completeness while minimizing errors in data processing. - Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with internal stakeholders, request additional information when needed, and document findings clearly and concisely. In this role, your purpose will be to support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. Accountabilities: - Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution. - Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes. - Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations in operational processes. - Develop and implement operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency. - Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders. - Stay updated on industry trends and developments to implement best practices in banking operations. - Participate in projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. As an Analyst, you are expected to: - Meet stakeholders/customers" needs through operational excellence and customer service. - Perform prescribed activities in a timely and high-standard manner. - Execute work requirements as per processes and procedures, impacting the work of team members. - Identify policy breaches and escalate as required. - Take ownership of managing risks and strengthening controls in your work area. - Understand your role, team integration, and the work of other teams within the function. - Work within defined procedures, evaluating and selecting appropriate alternatives from defined options. - Build relationships with stakeholders and customers to address their needs, handling sensitive issues as required.
