Role Overview: As a Facilities, Logistics and Operations Category Execution Support Analyst at News Corp Global Sourcing Organization, your main goal is to unlock value for News Corp by bringing speed, efficiency, and security to the buying process. You will work in a centralized environment, collaborating with stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to ensure the best outcomes. Your role will focus on executing sourcing strategies related to the facilities and operations category, requiring you to be a specialist/expert in this area. Key Responsibilities: - Execute the category strategy for the assigned category, collaborating with key stakeholders, team members, and leaders affected by the respective category - Develop RfX and provide input to the Category Performance framework, including metrics related to category performance - Analyze spend across sub-categories to optimize overall output and identify areas for waste reduction - Populate category cards detailing strategies, preferred suppliers, and business unit requirements for execution - Establish strong relationships with internal business partners, understand strategic business direction, and maintain sourcing ethics - Support evaluation, negotiation, selection, and qualification of vendors, including contract negotiations and management - Assist in business unit capacity and demand planning forecasting customer business unit demand - Execute change management within designated business units to increase utilization of best practices sourcing and procurement solutions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree or equivalent experience required, MBA is a plus - Minimum 2 years of global sourcing experience, specifically in the facilities, logistics, and operations category - Minimum 2-3 years of sourcing transformation experience - Strong project management skills, including stakeholder management and meeting coordination - Extensive knowledge of commercial agreement structures and legal terms - Experience working in a global, matrixed organization, facilitating teamwork across corporate boundaries About News Corp: News Corp is an Equal Opportunity Employer headquartered in New York, with primary operations in the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
