Analyst - FP&A

As an Analyst in the FP&A team of Global Finance Services (GFS-BLR) at Momentive, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate reporting and analysis to functional stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include participating in financial planning activities, collaborating with the Global FP&A Leader, and supporting various key business functions. Additionally, you will be involved in strategic financial projects, handling ad-hoc requests promptly, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving continuous improvement within existing processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Supporting monthly closing process and generating reports for Corp/ BUs with accuracy. - Analyzing unexpected variances and providing insights to stakeholders. - Assisting in Plant Operation data management as required. - Preparing vsBudget, vsEstimate, vsPY walks, and variance analysis. - Coordinating Budget and Forecast process by preparing numbers for key accounts. - Participating in strategic financial projects aligned with business requirements. - Handling ad-hoc requests from stakeholders promptly and effectively. - Contributing to business continuity plans and SOP creation. - Identifying opportunities for process improvement and collaborating with IT for automation. - Ensuring compliance with US GAAP accounting standards and internal financial policies. **Qualifications:** - Minimum Graduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field; MBA specializing in Finance preferred. - Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A domain. - Proficiency in MS Excel. - Fluency in English. - Ability to work in cross-functional teams in a global environment. - Service mentality, proactive approach, and problem-solving skills. - Deadline-oriented with the ability to work independently. - Strong prioritization and organizational skills for managing multiple deliverables. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Knowledge of SAP & BW. - Data Science Certifications. - Experience with Visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
