Analyst - Assurance

Role Overview: As an Analyst at EY, your role will involve carrying out routine substantive and controls-based procedures from the India offices to support various India client-serving Audit teams. You will be expected to provide high-quality results to the engagement teams within tight deadlines, demonstrating technical excellence and understanding of industry-specific issues. Key Responsibilities: - Delivering highest quality on every task assigned in line with SRB methodology and engagement team expectations - Demonstrating basic understanding of industry or sector and awareness of technical issues or Audit risks - Executing and documenting specific review procedures as defined by the engagement teams - Building knowledge about risk management, including significant business processes, client-specific risks, and applicable regulations - Timely identification of accounting issues, documenting facts and findings, and discussing with senior/Assistant Manager - Setting goals and responsibilities in coordination with the senior and team members - Interacting regularly with the engagement team and developing a productive working relationship - Contributing ideas for improvement by comparing efficiency of review procedures across different clients - Promoting SRB's ethical and professional standards, including data confidentiality - Developing knowledge of SRB technology and tools to enhance service delivery and share knowledge with team members Qualification Required: - Semi Qualified/B.com/ M.com/ B.A.F (any graduate) with 0.6 to 3 years of relevant experience - Basic understanding of accounting and Audit concepts - Strong interpersonal skills and good written & oral communication - Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook - Robust logical and reasoning skills - Interest in business and commerciality - Ability to work in a team, multi-task, be flexible, and work under pressure - Commitment to continuous learning and proactive implementation of new processes Additional Details: EY is a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services, known for hiring and developing passionate individuals to help build a better working world.
