About The Opportunity

Consultant Anaesthesiologist (On-site) — Bhiwani, Haryana

• Provide comprehensive anaesthesia care for elective and emergency surgeries across specialties—plan, induce, maintain and reverse anaesthesia safely.
• Perform preoperative assessment and optimisation, including airway evaluation and perioperative risk stratification.
• Deliver regional anaesthesia (spinal, epidural, peripheral nerve blocks) and ultrasound-guided blocks where indicated.
• Manage intraoperative haemodynamics and advanced airway interventions; step in for crisis airway/resuscitation and lead code responses as needed.
• Oversee postoperative analgesia and critical care handover; manage acute pain services and participate in ICU/HD management when required.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, follow safety and infection-control protocols, participate in audits, and contribute to departmental quality improvement and training of junior staff.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• MD / DNB / DA in Anaesthesiology or equivalent specialist qualification
• Valid registration with Medical Council of India / State Medical Council
• Proficiency in general anaesthesia and regional anaesthesia techniques
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience with ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia and airway management
• Willingness to work on-site in Bhiwani with participation in on-call rosters and emergency coverage
  

Preferred

• Fellowship or demonstrable experience in pain management or critical care anaesthesia
• Prior experience in a tertiary hospital OT/ICU setting and mentoring trainees
• Familiarity with anaesthesia machine maintenance, ventilator management and perioperative protocols
