AML Surveillance Analyst

As an FIU Surveillance Analyst at Interactive Brokers, you will play a vital role in reviewing and analyzing cashiering activities of the firm's clients in accordance with the AML/CTF policy. Your high energy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills will be essential in this role based in the Mumbai office. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in checking, monitoring, and surveillance of cashiering transactions by IBKR clients in the Asia Pacific region with a focus on transactions for IBAU, IBHK, and IBSG. - Communicate with clients regarding monitoring and surveillance-related matters. - Review and provide suggestions to enhance existing surveillance systems/reports. - Implement approved enhancement changes and regulatory changes. - Stay updated with changes in market conduct, AML, and other related regulations. - Keep abreast of APAC and international developments in relevant regulatory areas. **Qualifications and Skills Required:** - Familiarity with AML/CTF Rules. - Fluency in English (both written and spoken). - Good communication skills and client service experience would be advantageous. - Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Solid academic background with relevant qualifications. - "Can do" attitude and willingness to learn. - Good organizational skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision. - Comfort and fluency with computers and technology, or ability to rapidly develop this understanding. - Ability to work effectively in a small-team environment.
