Job Description

Job Title: AML/KYC Analyst Client Onboarding Work Location: Bangalore Client: accounting and consulting industries Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable based on performance and business need) Job Description: We are looking for an experienced AML/KYC Analyst with a focus on Client Onboarding to support our client, KPMG, in its global compliance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with internal and regulatory AML standards through accurate KYC/CDD/EDD reviews and documentation. Roles & Responsibilities: Handle end-to-end client onboarding processes for corporate and individual clients. Conduct KYC, CDD, and EDD as per KPMG compliance standards and regulatory policies. Perform Sanctions and PEP screening using tools like World-Check, LexisNexis, Dow Jones, etc. Review and validate legal documents, ownership structures, and UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) data. Identify, assess, and escalate high-risk clients for further review. Maintain accurate and up-to-date KYC records in internal systems. Work closely with compliance, risk, and legal teams to resolve documentation and risk issues. Ensure timely completion of KYC files and meet quality and productivity SLAs. Support KYC refresh and remediation activities as required. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field. 25 years of relevant experience in AML, KYC, Client Onboarding, or Financial Crime Compliance. Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines: FATF, OFAC, FinCEN, BSA/AML. Proficiency in using screening tools: World-Check, LexisNexis, Actimize, etc. Strong documentation and communication skills. Prior experience with Big 4 firms or financial institutions is preferred.
