As a procurement specialist in the insurance industry, your role will involve: - Procuring competitive terms from various insurers to ensure the best coverage for clients. - Negotiating terms and coverage with insurers to secure beneficial agreements. - Preparing comparative analyses of insurance quotes to assist clients in decision-making. - Providing expert advice to clients on insurer selection, terms, and claims settlement turnaround time. - Maintaining turnaround times for policy issuance and endorsements to ensure efficient processes. - Assisting the claims team by gathering data, preparing reports, and organizing documentation from clients. Your qualifications ideally include: - Detailed knowledge of property, marine, liability, and engineering insurance products to provide accurate guidance to clients. - Monitoring policy renewals monthly and quoting for renewal business based on portfolio performance. - Vetting policy copies, endorsements, and other documents before delivering them to clients. - Reviewing policy terms and conditions to identify deviations and ensuring proper endorsements. - Managing claims processes efficiently by reporting to insurers promptly, coordinating with surveyors, assisting clients with document preparation, and ensuring timely submissions. Please note that the salary for this position is competitive and will be offered based on market standards. The location of this role is in either Chennai or Hyderabad, and the ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the insurance industry.
